During the week of the Spring clean up, Wet Pants SA members donated 30 bicycles and over $400 to Pedals For Progress. The Wet Pants Junior Program supplemented the $10 per bicycle required donation with a check for $100. This money is being used to defray the shipping costs for the bicycles that are being sent to developing countries to provide pollution free transportation and small business enterprise development projects. The photos show Katie, Taylor, Tom Montalbine and Aidan Montalbine helping at the collection point to lower handle bars and remove pedals to get the bikes ready for transport. Not pictured is Tim Taylor who helped out a lot.

In total the collection from Long Island netted over 120 bicycles and $1200 in donations.
To all those who donated bicycles and money, THANKS
